Description

Ready to make a splash on gardens up and down the country – the new Hydrangea ‘Euphoria Pink’ is an exceptional and unique shrub.

Hydrangea are swiftly developing a top notch reputation as dependable performers, and this latest addition to the line will certainly not disappoint.

The hardy ‘Euphoria Pink’ provides beauty on two fronts – as the bountiful foliage is just as eye-catching as the summertime blooms.

Vibrant leaves emerge in spring with a tri-coloured effect, as a silver-green is bordered in a bold white, with pink tints.

Pink buds open to reveal beautiful lacecap flowers from June to August with ruby red petals surrounding a pale pink centre on each. What’s more if you grow this Hydrangea in acidic soil conditions, the blooms will take on a violet-blue shade around white centre.

Despite being newly launched, ‘Euphoria Pink’ already boasts a certain level of pedigree, having been crowned the runner-up in the RHS ‘Plant of the Year 2023’ contest.

Include this bushy, yet compact, shrub in your border or bed displays, while it also looks right at home in a large pot or container for a dramatic patio plant.

Supplied as an established plant in a 13cm pot, ready for planting.

Top Tips
To extend the seasonal interest, leave some flowerheads on the plants over winter, where they will look gorgeous covered with frost  – and of course, they will provide shelter for overwintering wildlife.
Care Information
  • Just plant in position, water well, and add some fertiliser – they will burst into growth and flower profusely through summer.
  • These plants are at their best in moist soil as long as it is well-drained, in sun or part shade. The more sun the plant gets, the better the flower colour. A moisture-loving plant, remember to water regularly and deeply.
  • Hardy in the UK, frost can cause a lot of damage to young buds, reducing the number of flowers, so protect your plant with fleece if freezing weather is likely.
  • Pruning is generally best carried out in early spring. A general tidy-up is usually all that is needed and consists of removing the dead bloom from each stem, cutting back to the first strong, healthy pair of buds down from the faded flower.
  • As Hydrangeas flower on the previous year's growth, in spring cut out 1 or 2 of the oldest stems at the base to encourage the production of new, replacement growth that will carry more flowers.
Delivery Information

Please allow us 3-5 working days to dispatch your order. Pre-ordered items will be sent as soon as possible after the date quoted and we'll generally ship your entire order with your pre-ordered items. When your order is dispatched, we'll send you another email with details of how to track it.

Most orders are sent on a fully-tracked courier service with Yodel. To avoid perishable items being stuck at depots and deteriorating, no signature is required, and our courier is asked to leave your order in a safe place on your property.

We'll send a tracking link when we dispatch your order, so you know when its due to arrive. Please note, once delivered we cannot be held responsible for loss or theft from your property. If you have any specific delivery instructions, please let us know - there's an option to enter a short message for the courier at the checkout.

Smaller, lighter, single-item orders may be sent through the post with Royal Mail - in which case no tracking is available.

Our experienced nursery team will always send your plants nursery fresh in the perfect condition to thrive when you plant them, so although most plants are very tough and will not be affected by all but the most extreme frosts or heatwaves, we avoid dispatching the most perishable plants if extreme weather is forecast, or over Bank Holiday weekends.

Please note, we cannot guarantee delivery on a certain day or time. Delivery to outlying postcode areas may take 1-2 days longer, dependent on your location.
