Such an incredible plant, it’s no surprise it holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit and is closely related to the ever-popular traditional summer Jasmine. This is a slow-growing evergreen climber with the potential to stretch as high as 6m.

The pure white, star-shaped flowers spread in waves, produced with anticlockwise-sweeping petals across the warm summer months. Occasionally you’ll be treated to extraordinary seed pods, which look like a pair of French beans joined together at the top.

As a hardy evergreen, ‘Star Jasmine’ has glossy dark green leaves in spring and summer that evolve in winter to rich purple. Hardy in conditions down to between -5C and -10C, it is best grown in a sheltered spot away from cold winds, thriving on a sunny wall or sprawling across an arch, pergola, or along a fence or wall.

Supplied as an established plant in a 10L pot, 200-225cm tall, with a cane tripod. Ready to plant.
