Shapely structure awaits your garden with a pollinator-favourite Privet hedge, delivered to you already grown and established, for immediate planting.
A classic hedge with dense, neat, and tidy foliage of oval-shaped leaves. The dark green leaves hold firm from spring, through summer, and into autumn, even remaining on the plant through winter unless conditions turn particularly cold.
Summertime brings pointed clusters of creamy white fragrant flowers, spanning across many months. These blooms are followed by black berries once autumn rolls around. Plus, this variety has been recommended by the RHS as a ‘Plant for Pollinators’, as the flowers are rich in pollen, perfect for attracting bees and other beneficial insects.
Privet is a reliable hedging variety, thriving even in built-up or urban areas as it is resistant to pollution and hardy in winter conditions as cold as -10C. Plant in a sunny or partially shaded location, in more-or-less any type or condition of soil, with even a windy spot tolerated. Fast-growing Privet hedges can stretch an additional 30-60cm every year.
Supplied as an established and ready to plant hedge, approximately 80-100cm high, 100cm long, and 20cm wide.
